One of the most common questions we get here at Custom Diesel is:

“What is the difference between your Complete Ford 6.0 EGR Delete Kit and your Economy Ford 6.0 EGR Delete Kit?”

Well, here is a little information to help distinguish the difference for all of our customers.

Both kits will completely delete the EGR cooler and valve and come with our up pipe to replace the factory up pipe.  The main difference between the kits is the J Tube.  In our Economy Kit the J Tube is constructed out of Zinc Plated Steel, and in the Complete Kit the J Tube is constructed out of Aluminum.  Which is the better option you may ask?  Take a look at the upsides to using our Complete Kit instead of  our Economy Kit:

  • Aluminum has less corrosion than Zinc Plated Steel.
  • Aluminum has better heat dissipation than Zinc Plated Steel.
  • Aluminum is lighter weight compared to Zinc Plated Steel.

We still leave the choice up to our customers to decide which kit they prefer.  After all, who doesn’t love options?  Both kits are covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty against any manufacturer defects and ship free via UPS Ground within the Continental United States.  Which will you decide to purchase?
